1. Acceptance of these Terms

By registering for an account on Property Dealers, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not register for or use this site. We may update these Terms from time to time; if we do, you will be asked to review and re-accept them the next time you sign in.

2. Who may register

This site provides access to real estate listing data made available under a Virtual Office Website (VOW) data feed agreement with our real estate board. Access is limited to consumers with a genuine, bona fide interest in buying, selling, or leasing real property, acting for themselves and not as, or on behalf of, a licensed real estate salesperson, broker, or brokerage. By registering, you confirm both of these things are true. Accounts found to be used by a real estate professional for anything other than their own personal, non-commercial use may be suspended without notice.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. For security, your password will periodically expire and you will be prompted to choose a new one; your session will also end automatically after a period of inactivity. We keep a record of account activity (including sign-ins and listing views) for security and compliance purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Permitted use of listing data

Listing data displayed on Property Dealers is licensed to us for display on this site and is owned by our real estate board and/or the brokerages and salespersons who supplied it. You may view listings for your own personal, non-commercial use while evaluating a property. You may not copy, scrape, data-mine, republish, redistribute, retransmit, or otherwise use the data for any commercial purpose, and you may not use any automated tool to collect or reorganize data from this site. Listing content may not be altered, and each listing's brokerage of record is identified on its detail page and must not be removed, obscured, or misrepresented.

5. Accuracy of information

Listing information is supplied by our real estate board's data feed and is believed to be reliable but is not guaranteed and may contain errors, omissions, or listings that are no longer available. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer, appraisal, or professional advice. You should independently verify any information that is material to your decision to buy, sell, or lease a property, and consult a licensed professional as needed.

6. No representation relationship

Using this site does not, by itself, create a client or representation relationship between you and Property Dealers or the listing brokerage. Contact information for the listing brokerage of each property is provided so you can reach out directly if you wish.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Property Dealers is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or the information it contains.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe these Terms have been violated, if your account appears to be used by a real estate professional rather than a consumer, or as otherwise required by our real estate board's rules. You may also request that your account be deleted at any time by contacting us.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
