Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number. We also automatically record account activity — sign-ins, sign-outs, and the listings and searches you view while signed in — along with the IP address and browser used for each event.

2. Why we collect it

We use this information to: operate your account and verify you are a genuine consumer as required by our real estate board's data feed agreement; maintain the access audit trail our board requires us to keep and make available to it on request; communicate with you about your account (verification, password resets, security notices); and detect misuse of the site. Property Dealers does not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

We may share account and activity information with our real estate board (PropTx/TRREB) for audit and compliance purposes, with the listing brokerage of a property you inquire about, and with service providers who help us operate the site (e.g. email delivery), bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not share your information with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. How long we keep it

Account activity records are retained for at least 180 days after a password expires, as required by our real estate board, and are periodically purged after that unless we are required to keep them longer (for example, an active compliance inquiry). You may request deletion of your account at any time; some records may be retained where we are legally required to.

5. Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at tonysjosan@gmail.com. If we receive a request to remove a specific listing from display, we will action it promptly and notify our real estate board and the listing brokerage so the listing can be flagged accordingly.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards (encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls) to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their province of residence.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will require you to review and re-accept the policy the next time you sign in.
